I didn't want to go "typical", like just another all-over floral printed scarf. I wanted flowers but also pizzazz!

This is a reproduction of an original painting done in acrylics on wood, with a dimensional look created with pallet knives.

The composition is inspired by the wonderful over-the-top coiffes worn at places like the Kentucky Derby.
A retro glam feel with vivid colors and flowers: mission accomplished! ;)

Dry cleaning is always recommended but you can also hand wash silk with a mild detergent and lay flat or hang to dry.

Never use chlorine bleach; this would damage the fibers.

Use iron on silk setting (low heat).

To amplify color fastness (colors not fading) you should first do a wash in cold water with 1/4 cup of white vinegar and 1 teaspoon of salt.
